Youth Assistance offers a variety of programs all aimed at improving communication between parents and their children, understanding child development, and enhancing parenting skills. By offering a variety of programs, families can choose the program that meets their needs at the time, and can continue to attend sessions as their children grow and change, presenting new issues that need to be addressed. These programs are frequently co-sponsored by other community groups, libraries and local schools.
Presented by Bloomfield Youth Guidance. Author and speaker Julie Fisher, M.Ed is an educational consultant and coach who specializes in creating solutions to parenting, technology use, and social media issues. This session is focused on issues related to elementary school students and their caregivers.

Winter Wellness In The Woods is presented by BYA, BHS Foundation, PTOC Health & Wellness Foundation, and the Johnson Nature Center. The families gathered together on a cold, sunny afternoon to learn how to manage big emotions from expert Jessica Cortez, LMSW, and Nature Center Naturalists.
